4.       4. A load of 2 kg produces an extension of 1 mm in a wire of 3 metres in length and 1 mm in       diameter. Calculate the Young’s modulus of the wire.

5.       5. A string used in a circus company is put to severe stress. It is twisted in a certain swing by an angle ‘α’(where α=24^o ).  If ‘K’ is the rigidity modulus of string, 'L' is the length and ‘x’ is its radius, find the couple involved in the twisting of  string.(bring out derivation)
